Introduction to the art of mosaic from the Greco-Roman and Byzantine periods to the later tradition, through both theoretical lessons and hands on training from the very first day.

The aim is students to learn the basic techniques of mosaic art and to create original works derived from their own personal designs with their personal style implementing their ideas, beyond the traditional applications.

Experimentation, associated with understanding the language of the mosaic, creating flows seeking to develop a rhythm, exploring color combinations and contrasts, learning to create a weave.

Students will be provided the necessary tools and materials and will create a final work of marble and/or glass paste by implementing both "direct" and "indirect" methods.

The works will be exhibited at the end of each cycle.
